COMMODITY MARKET TRENDS 11 April 2014

BASE METAL WRAP: 
Nickel climbed for the 10th straight day, heading for the biggest weekly advance since January, on concern that Indonesia’s ore export ban will limit global supplies amid stronger demand.

ENERGY WRAP:  
West Texas Intermediate headed for a weekly gain amid speculation that U.S. fuel demand will increase as employment recovers. The discount to Brent shrank to the least since September after Libya signaled it’s ready to boost crude exports.

PRECIOUS METAL WRAP:  
Gold headed for a second weekly rise as minutes from the U.S. Federal Reserve’s last meeting damped expectations for higher borrowing costs, while tension in Ukraine persisted.
